Donna Dushku serves as the Sponsorship Director for One Heart Bulgaria. Her responsibility is to create and manage sponsorships for the most needy orphanages in Bulgaria. She also sends out regular detailed reports about the conditions of the orphanages and the children housed in them to their corresponding sponsors. Donna also submits articles about the organization for publication in the media.
Donna has an AA degree in Medical Secretarial/Medical Assisting and has taken numerous additional classes in business and computer skills, as well as English and literature. She and her husband, Nicholas, raised 5 great kids in Sacramento, CA before retiring to Cache Valley, Utah. They are grandparents to 21 (and counting) very special grandchildren. Her life has been one of service to her family, church and community; she is now happy to devote much of her time to this humanitarian work which benefits Bulgarian orphans.
Donna’s other interests include literature, family activities, community events and theater, as well as church assignments. Her best qualities are persistence, dependability and loyalty.
